From the title of the first song, you already knew what it was. Two of Atlanta's finest dance music producers consensually run a train on your ears. "For the Freaks" starts out with a beat that's reminiscent of Cameo's Candy. Divine Interface (aka Drew Briggs) gently lays his voice on this cut to simply dedicate the efforts of this offering to the freaks, steppers, dancers, D-boys, scammers, and any other nightlife playmakers. The next track is titled "It's In Me"; it's a laid back California vibe great for the bbq, the beach, or the bar. It's easy to get into, and just a good o'l fashion bop. The third selection is "Pretend". This one is big hip house energy. The vocals are lush and exude confidence, while blending perfectly with the beat. The track is so fun and accessible you automatically start vibing once this track gets going. Next up is "Temptress"; a slower offering and smooth as ever. The melody and vocals blend together and drape over your ears like the finest handmade silk scarf. The final offering is "Start It Right". This track definitely showcases the darker side of this duo. Both growing up during the freaknik era, the producers reach back in time to infuse this rhythm with that stank. Booming subs rattle your car while crispy high hats fly by like white dotted lines on the highway.
